Welcome to my Noonday Collection website.

I live in Londonderry, New Hampshire with my husband, daughter, and my sister.   I am a stay at home mom and a caretaker for my sister. I spend my time volunteering as the President of the PTA at my daughters school and enjoy being active in our community. During this year, my husband, Matt, and I had the opportunity to take a trip of a lifetime to Nairobi, Kenya in Africa. There we visited Missions of Hope International. My husband climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro with a team of people to raise money for building a new classroom for children in Turkana, Kenya. I was able to spend most of my time visiting homes of people with children with disabilities in the slums of Nairobi. My eyes were opened wide by what I experienced there. Since returning home, I have wrestled with what to do about the poverty and injustice I had seen. What does it all mean for me? What can I do about it from my community? I began to educate myself on how our shopping and charity habits here in the United States directly impact (usually negatively) these communities in Africa and around the world. Then I came across Noonday Collection; what an opportunity Noonday Collections give us all to make an impact in our world right from our homes. I am passionate about educating others and giving opportunities for others to have a greater positive impact in the world.   Act Justly, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly.
